Engineering
iOS Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Implement and test our core client experience on iOS
- Push the limits of WebKit on mobile devices with HTML5 and other new/emerging web technologies
- Interface with the design team to bring their user experience designs to life
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- iPhone/Mac development experience: you’ve built some really great apps
- Proficiency programming in C/C++
- Experience with WebKit development would be a plus
Javascript Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype and implement web frontend using JavaScript and HTML5 technologies
- Design and develop libraries and frameworks for web applications
- Ensure the reliability, scalability and efficiency of the web frontend
- Code primarily in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Work in a dynamic team oriented environment using agile methodologies
Skills & Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Strong interest in product and user interface design
- Experience developing in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience developing with HTML5, CSS3 and related extensions a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new ideas
Educational Content
Content Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Develop content modules through scoping, proofing reading and working closely with US State Standards
- Developing atomic content modules, which can be mastered individually
- Finding opportunities to build interactive manipulative(s) enhancing understanding
Skills & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Subject matter expertise in Math or English
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in instructional design or pedagogy
Design
User Interaction Designer
Responsibilities:
- Design easy-to-use, beautiful user experiences and interfaces for mobile apps
- Contribute to the visualization of innovative apps through white boarding, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes and GUI elements with frequent iteration and evolution of design solutions
- Engage with our team of developers to collaborate and iterate in fast-paced design-build cycles—experience w/version control systems a plus
- Work closely with management and design to gauge the feasibility of proposed designs and ensure that they support the business requirements
Skills & Requirements
- Real world design experience—mobile user experience designer, or similar role designing mobile device or web apps
- Strong design background with samples of work demonstrating experience creating exceptional user-centered mobile applications or rich internet
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to gracefully defend your design decisions
- Experience with design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. to create interactions flows, wireframes, low-fidelity mockups and high-fidelity screen level design
- Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in CS, design, human-computer interaction (HCI)
